What are Game Tokens?

Game Tokens are the game’s one currency. You earn 1 Game Token for every 10,000 points you have scored when a game ends, and you can buy more in packs of 40, 240 or 600.

You spend them in the Power-Up Shop — open the menu and tap “Choose Game Power-Ups.” 1 token buys a BIG WAVE! or a Slow-Snow, 3 tokens buy a Shield, and 5 tokens buy a Resurrection. A trade in the shop is final; there is no trading back. Game Tokens never expire.

Do I have to pay to play?

No. Every player starts with 3 of each power-up and 3 Resurrections, your score earns Game Tokens in every game, and a Bonus Break every tenth level hands out free credits. The token packs are a shortcut, not a gate.

Why is a token pack dimmed and not for sale?

You can hold up to 1,000 Game Tokens. A pack that would take you past 1,000 is dimmed and cannot be bought, so you never pay for tokens you could not keep. Spend some tokens in the Power-Up Shop and the pack lights up again.

Your bank holds up to 100 BIG WAVES!, 100 Slow-Snows, 30 Shields and 10 Resurrections. Each new game loads up to 10 BIG WAVES!, 10 Slow-Snows, 3 Shields, and 1 Resurrection from your bank.

I bought Game Tokens and they did not arrive.

They normally arrive within moments. If they did not, close the game completely and open it again while you are connected to the internet — a purchase the store finished late is delivered the next time the game starts. If the tokens are still missing, email us the receipt or order number the store sent you, and tell us your device model.

My Game Tokens or power-ups are gone. Can you restore them?

We can’t, and we want to be straight with you about why. Game Tokens are a consumable purchase: they, and the power-ups and Resurrections you trade them for, are stored only in the game’s local storage on your own device. Nothing about those balances is ever sent to us or to anyone else — that is a deliberate privacy feature of the game’s design — but it also means no copy exists anywhere that we could restore from. If the game is deleted, or your device is lost, reset, or replaced, any remaining balance goes with it, and a balance cannot be moved to a new phone. There is no “Restore Purchases” button in the game, because everything the game sells is a consumable — there is nothing restorable to restore.

Write to us anyway and tell us what happened. Where it is fair, we can make it right with a store code for a token pack.

How do I get a refund?

If you believe a purchase was charged in error or something went wrong at delivery, refunds are decided by the store you bought it from, not by us:

• Apple App Store: go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with the Apple Account used for the purchase, find the charge, and choose “Request a refund.” Apple decides these requests under its own policy.
• Google Play: open play.google.com, go to Payments & subscriptions → Budget & order history, find the order, and select “Request a refund” — or contact Google Play support directly. Google decides these requests under its own policy.

Are there advertisements in the game?

No. Flip-a-Tyrant! has no advertisements at all — no videos, no banners, no pop-ups.

Where is my game data kept?
