Privacy Statement

Antisthenes LLC — for the mobile game Flip-a-Tyrant! (the “Game”)
Effective date: October 8, 2026 · Applies to Game version 1.0
Website: antisthenes.com · Contact: info@antisthenes.com

The short version. Your game progress stays on your device — we never see it. The Game contains no advertisements and no advertising software, and it never asks to track you. The Game offers optional packs of Game Tokens; that balance is stored only on your device, like your progress, and cannot be restored if the Game is deleted. The Game has no accounts, no login, no chat, and no leaderboard servers. We never see your payment details.

1. Who we are

The Game is published by Antisthenes LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA. Antisthenes LLC is the data controller for the limited personal information described in this statement. You can reach us at info@antisthenes.com or via the support page at antisthenes.com/support.

2. Information stored only on your device

The Game saves your progress — levels reached, scores and personal bests, your game in progress, characters encountered, settings, and your balances of power-ups, Resurrections and Game Tokens — in local storage on your device. This information is not transmitted to us or to anyone else, and it is deleted when you delete the Game from your device. The Game’s score keeper is personal to your device; there is no online leaderboard and no data leaves your device to maintain it.

3. No advertising and no tracking

The Game contains no advertisements and no advertising software of any kind. It does not read your device’s advertising identifier, it does not ask for permission to track you, and it does not share information with advertisers, advertising networks or data brokers.

The only time the Game opens anything outside itself is when you tap its link to this statement or to our support page, which opens in your device’s own web browser.

4. Legal bases for processing (EEA and UK)

Where the UK or EU General Data Protection Regulation applies: playing the Game sends us no personal information, so there is nothing for us to process when you play. If you write to us, we use your email address and your message to answer you, relying on our legitimate interest in supporting players (Article 6(1)(f)). Purchases are processed by the app store, which acts as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.

5. Where your information is processed

Antisthenes LLC operates from the United States. Because we operate no servers of our own for the Game, we do not ourselves transfer or store your personal information anywhere. If you email us from outside the United States, your message comes to us in the United States. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, which apply the international transfer safeguards described in their own privacy policies.

6. In-app purchases

The Game offers three optional in-app purchases: packs of 40, 240 and 600 Game Tokens. They are processed entirely by the app store you got the Game from; we never receive or store your payment card details.

Game Tokens are a consumable purchase. They are the Game’s own currency — also earned simply by playing — and are traded inside the Game for power-ups and Resurrections. To complete a purchase, the store’s purchase system on your device tells the Game what each pack costs and whether your purchase went through; that exchange is not sent to us.

Your Game Tokens, and whatever you trade them for, are stored only in the Game’s local storage on your device — exactly like your progress in Section 2. They are not transmitted to us or to anyone else, they do not transfer to other devices, and they cannot be restored: if the Game is deleted, or the device is lost or reset, any remaining balance is gone with it. Because a consumable purchase cannot be restored, the Game offers no “Restore Purchases” control. Refunds for any purchase are handled by the app store under its own policies; see the support page at antisthenes.com/support.

7. Crash and usage statistics from the app stores

If you have chosen on your device to share analytics with app developers — an opt-in setting on both Apple and Android devices — the store provides us with aggregated crash reports and usage statistics that do not identify you. We use these only to fix bugs and improve the Game. We do not include any third-party analytics software in the Game.

8. Children and age limits

The Game is not directed at children and is not offered in the App Store’s Kids category. Its age rating is set for teenage and adult players and is shown on the Game’s store listing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 — or under the higher minimum age that applies where you live, since several countries in the European Economic Area set the age of consent for these purposes as high as 16.

The Game does not ask your age and cannot identify individual players. If you believe a child has sent us personal information — for example, in an email — contact us at info@antisthenes.com and we will delete it.

9. Data retention and deletion

Game progress and balances live only on your device and are removed when you delete the Game. Because the Game has no accounts and we operate no servers that store player data, we hold no personal information about you from your play. If you email us, we keep the correspondence only as long as we need it to answer you and to keep ordinary business records, and we delete it on request. For any question or request about your data, contact us at info@antisthenes.com.

10. Your privacy rights

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to request access to your personal information; to have it corrected or erased; to restrict or object to its processing; to receive it in a portable form; and to lodge a complaint with your national data protection supervisory authority, or with the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom. We will respond to requests within one month.

If you are in California or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have rights to know, delete, correct and obtain a copy of personal information. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising of any kind. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.

Wherever you live, because playing the Game sends us nothing, the only personal information we could hold about you is correspondence you have sent us. To exercise any right or ask us anything about privacy, email info@antisthenes.com. We may need to ask for information to verify a request.

11. Security

The Game requires no account, password, or personal details from you. Purchases run through the app stores’ infrastructure, which applies industry-standard security measures.

12. Changes to this statement

If our practices change — for example, if a future update adds a feature that collects new information — we will update this statement at this web address and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be noted in the Game’s store update notes.

This version replaces the statement dated October 1, 2026, which described video advertisements. Advertising was removed from the Game before its public release, and this statement describes the Game as released.

What we already expect to change. The Game is in active development, and some planned features would involve information leaving your device for the first time. We are naming them here so nothing arrives as a surprise.

  • An online score board. Version 1.0 keeps every score on your device, as described in Section 2. A later version is planned to let you post a score to a shared board — which would mean sending that score, and whatever display name you chose, to a server. Posting would be something you opt into, not something the Game does on its own.
  • Developer analytics. Section 7 is true today: the Game contains no third-party analytics software. A later version may add a crash-and-usage analytics library, which would collect app-usage and diagnostic information.

None of this is active yet, and this notice does not switch any of it on. These items are described so you can see where the Game is headed — not as permission given in advance. Before any of them begins, we will revise this statement, publish it at this web address under a new effective date, and note the change in the Game’s store update notes. Where the law requires your consent — in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, for example — we will ask for it in the Game, at the time, and not before.
